Foothills Wanderers Orienteering Club (FWOC / Foothills Orienteering) is seeking two experienced Coaches for spring and summer adult training. FWOC is one of the most energetic orienteering clubs in Canada with many involved, competitive adults. The club is actively engaged in maintaining its strong core of adult orienteers and attracting and developing new orienteers in the Calgary area and beyond.

2018 Adult Training Coach
The Adult Training Coach is responsible for organizing and planning Sunday trainings for adult (16+) orienteers with a range of orienteering experience from beginner to advanced and a range of athletic ability. This is a part-time, short-term position which requires the coach be available Sundays. The sessions run from April to July.
2018 Beginner Adult Coach
The Adult Beginner Coach is responsible for organizing Navigation 101 and 201 trainings for adult (16+) orienteers with a range of athletic ability. This is a part-time, short-term position which requires the coach be available one (consistent) weekday evening. The two 5-week sessions run in April and May. The course material is planned around two Calgary parks: Bowmont and Edworthy. The coach is responsible for delivering and, if necessary, adjusting the program.
