Join us to celebrate WORLD ORIENTEERING DAY with going for an adventure !
Never tried this before?
No Problem, just come to the registration table, and we will help you. After some paperwork for waivers, one of our friendly volunteers will help you to explain the activity and give you some pointers.
You can walk or run in the park with our adventure maps finding checkpoints. It’s like a treasure hunt (without the treasure ). You can participate alone or with your friends and family and we have different length and difficulty maps so everyone can enjoy it!
No experience necessary. Family, kids & dog friendly.
Map is only a Toonie!
Just show up and we will take care of you!
For regular members :
Four courses will be on offer (beginner, novice, intermediate and advanced).
Pricing
- World Orienteering Day special: $2.00/map!
- A Season Pass: $55 (all 16 Wednesday night events)
- SOGO spring or fall 2018 participants are free!

No experience needed. Please sign up (on the right) to help with registration, timing, or control pick up. We will make sure you have a chance to race as well. Thank You!
Membership
All participants must have a 2019 FWOC Membership:
- New to our club? You can purchase a one-time trial membership at the event it will be included in your map fee this time.
You may later apply this towards a full membership. - SOGO 2019 spring participants are already members, SOGO Squirt parents are members.
- Bring cash or save time and buy your 2019 membership and/or season pass online
Please sign up for courses and/or volunteering on this page as early as possible so we know how many maps to print. We will have a few extras for people who don't sign up beforehand.
