Wondering what happens during a SOGO program hour? Want to get out and try SOGO? If you are new to SOGO, or new to volunteering with SOGO, or want to bring some friends to try SOGO, this is the event for you!

We are celebrating St. Patricks Day SOGO style! We will have a green theme (one of our favourite colours at SOGO).

There will be 4 SOGO Stations; speed, agility, endurance and navigation. These are samples of a typical SOGO program hour, but on a smaller scale in order for families to try all 4 stations within the hour. We will have an agility course to search for leprechauns, an endurance course to collect some green beads to make a necklace, a speed game to build a leprechaun trap and a map to find the pot of gold. Each station will be lead by a coach to introduce families to these new skills and games.

Babies and smaller children are welcome. Please bring a front carrier or backpack for any little family member who isn't able to walk. We ask that participants do not wear rubber boots, and opt for winter boots or runners as they have better tread and are safer for SOGO activities. We encourage everyone to wear green!

You must pre register by Thursday March 15 at noon. The cost is $20 per family. Families will move through the stations together. Try It- SOGO Event will run from 11 am until noon. We will be at Riley Park, next to the pool. You will be able to see our big SOGO banner, which is mostly black and green.

Register before March 15, 2018
