Score O Event:
The race for most most points was tighter than usual for a Score O event BECAUSE (!!!) of all the bonus points many participants accrued from correctly identifying some of the diverse and beautiful flowers that adorned Nose Hill Shaganappi. Here is the final score!
PS. If Damian could take a little workshop on Flowers in the Canadian West, he would be even more unbeatable that he is now.
Congratulations to Damian on his 3 Gold Medals at the recent Canadian Orienteering Championships in Quebec!
It was a fierce battle to the Finish between Vanessa and Owen with only 2 seconds separating both. And not far behind were Eric and Robin, also a mere 2 sec apart. Congratulations on the excellent performances!
A huge THANK YOU to the Village of Volunteers who helped with Wed’s Score O event (Clarence, Bob, Brad, Kim, the Riddell family, Don B, Emma, Marsha). Your assistance was invaluable!

Tonight's main activity is a Score-O. Competitors have one hour to visit as many controls as possible, with the intention of maximizing the number of points. The more difficult/distant the control is, the more points!
There will also be a Novice Course!
FYI: The flowers are abundant, the grass is long, and there are some mosquitoes. Come prepared!
