2025 Spook-O Orienteering Course for Experienced Orienteers (with pin punches!) SOGO Event

Hello!
We are putting on for experienced* orienteers as part of SOGO Adventure Running's Spook-O events on Sunday Oct 26th at Edworthy Park.
This is an orienteering course for experienced orienteers will run from 1:00 - 6:30 pm, also at Edwothy. You can start anytime between 1:00 and 5:30. Course closes at 6:30. It'll be 3-5 km, using pin-punching and self-timing. No results after the fact. No candy or spooks. Just a basic orienteering course.
This is ideal for folks who would like to do the course at around the start of the course - around 1:00 to 2:20, and then you can change into costume to volunteer at the Spook-O. We are looking for volunteers with Spook-O. We usually have over 250 registrants (!) and we need lots of volunteers to helo make it a great and spooky event. To register for this event, you must be an FWOC member, member of another orienteering club, or purchase a day membership.
*What do we mean by experienced orienteer? You need to have experience with the basics of orienteering, and be familiar with how to navigate a point-to-point course. You don't need to be speedy, just need an understanding of orienteering basics.
