Free -Try Orienteering - Session

Registration is required for all Try-It participants.

Registration is through the GOOGLE FORM, as we need to know how many maps to print and to sign the online waiver.

Try-Its are an excellent way to try the sport of orienteering. Bring your family and friends! Each person that registers receives their own map

What to expect?

• You will receive brief coaching instructions.
• You can try a couple of learning activities.
• You will get a map and head out for a self-led map walk or run on the beginner - orienteering course.
• Your course should take you about 1 hour.
• No previous experience is necessary, join us for this fun walk to explore Calgary's parks!
• All children must be supervised by an adult

If you decide to return for additional sessions, you will need to join the FWOC Club (with a $20 annual membership fee, discounted for families) and pay the event fee $5. Alternatively, you can purchase an annual pass for all Wednesday events, which includes over 20 events, for $55.
